ALIBI was written in 2018. Starting with an improvisation on D minor, I found this awesome chord progression G minor, C major, A minor, B flat major. I found it funny that the base tone of the harmonics, D, is not even part of the chord progression. It felt as if the chords are beating around the bush of the base tone D, just like a bad excuse, an alibi.

The lyrics of Alibi is about overcoming those bad excuses, getting over whatever you feel is hindering you and start getting your things done.
